Greville's first residents welcomed home

The founding residents of Greville are being welcomed into their new homes as Wooloowin’s new integrated housing project comes to life.

Located 5km north of the Brisbane CBD, the 3.5 hectare site at the former Sisters of Mercy Convent will evolve over the next five years to provide 84 townhomes, more than 200 apartments across three buildings and a small collection of heritage homes, all complemented by a suite of amenities.

Cedar Woods Development Director Blair Britton said the dedicated project team was on track to bring the next residential release to market in Spring after a strong response to its early offerings.

"With our first release of townhomes selling from $1.14M, we have been able to offer premium three-bedroom properties at excellent value compared to the suburb’s median house price of $1.57M, which has increased 26.5% in the past 12 months,” Mr Britton said.

“Comprising 12 townhomes, this first release is now complete, and settlements are poised to commence. The 25 townhomes in the second release are sold out, with leading private builder Greyburn already halfway through construction.

“The founding residents of the three-bedroom townhomes will have a range of exclusive amenities at their doorstep including the completed recreation area with pool, BBQs, and alfresco dining, and the public Greville Park with 4,000sqm of green space which opened last year.”

Greville’s architecturally designed townhomes and apartments combine Wooloowin’s signature charm with modern finishes and city views, complemented by the retention of the historic Laundry building from the 1800s which will be converted into heritage homes as the final release at Greville.

“Our third collection of 20 three-bedroom townhomes, located in the middle of the site’s eastern side, will be released this spring," Mr Britton said.

“It is a privilege for all of us to bring this visionary community to life and honour its history and heritage charm.”

“With innovative architecture by Rothelowman, Greville is breathing new life into this precinct, and we hope to see this space embraced by the whole Wooloowin community now and long into the future.”
